In 1994 she received the CAP Facilitator Recognition Award and became the Passaic County Coordinator and under her leadership, 100% of the school districts have received the program. In 2007 she assumed the position of Morris County Coordinator and has implemented CAP in the following Districts:
Mount Arlington, Netcong, Randolph, Rockaway Borough, Denville, Morris County Headstart, Park Lake School, and six Diocese schools.

Programs offered to schools and community groups with a three prong approach which includes workshops for staff, parents and students:

  • CAP for Early Childhood, Elementary, Teen, Special Needs Students
  • CAP’s Bullying Prevention Program
  • “Cyber-Empowerment” – about cyber-bullying and safety

 

Programs only offered to adults:

  • “Recognizing and Responding to the Sexualized Behavior of Children”
  • “Animal Abuse and its relationship to Child Abuse”
NJ CAP is located at the Educational Resource Center, and is a RTC of the International Center for Assault Prevention. It partners with state, national and worldwide prevention advocates.
