A Mother and a Daughter Helped

A mother shared with a CAP Coordinator that her daughter told her that her friend and the friend’s sisters were being molested by an uncle.  The daughter remembered that in CAP she was taught to stand up for the rights of others to be Safe, Strong and Free.  This is why she went home and told her mother and together they reported it.  The man was arrested and prosecuted. The mother and her daughter who reported the abuse felt that because of the CAP training they were able to help these girls to stop the abuse that had been going on for so long
