CAP County Coordinator:
Catholic Charities Diocese of Metuchen
Phillipsburg, New Jersey
The Warren County CAP Project is housed at Catholic Charities Diocese of Metuchen, which became the host agency in 1985 and began Child Assault Prevention in two schools. Since that time we have implemented 100% of our school districts, including all Catholic Schools and Head Start sites. Because of their commitment we have yearly maintenance programs in 12-15 of those districts.
We offer Child Assault Prevention and Bullying Prevention education to schools and community groups with a whole community approach which includes workshops for staff, parents and students.
Our programs include:
- Early Childhood ( 3 1/2 -5 year olds)
- Elementary CAP ( Grades 1-6)
- Teen CAP ( Grades 7-9)
- CAP’s Bully Prevention ( K-8)
- Cyber Empowerment
Additional adult workshops are offered to schools and community groups. Please call the CAP Coordinator for an updated list.
