About Hudson County CAP

The NJ CAP program has been implementing workshops that empower children and adults to be “Safe, Strong & Free” for over 30 years!. Hudson county school districts have had 100% implementation of the CAP workshops. Our facilitators are a group of dedicated and passionate child advocates. As a bilingual team they conduct workshops in English & Spanish which benefit all students and parents involved. Districts in both counties have seen the benefits of having the CAP program implemented in their schools.

“The program more than met the staff’s expectation. Our parents loved the CAP Workshop! The CAP staff was extremely professional in conduct and experts in delivery of service. Their support is extremely helpful and appreciated. After CAP, we have had reduced suspensions. Our students are talking and sharing their feelings more and the teachers are listening.” – Jersey City Administrator

“The class today was fabulous!! The CAP Facilitators did a wonderful job facilitating and providing the key information and tools to our counselors. The presentation was very impactful and empowered our counselors on how to work with children who have exhibited bullying behavior.  It was well done! Thank you!” – Hoboken Administrator
